For the past while we’ve been sending out our email confirmations with a little note attached letting you know that we’ll be happy to collect your old inkjet or laser cartridges, cell phones, or mp3 players (Ipods etc) and recycle them to charity. In this case the charity is Scout Troop 565. It’s been a huge success so far. A success also in the terms that I haven’t called them a “cub scout” troop so far in this post. They are now a BOY scout troop which is much bigger and better than just a CUB scout troop.
Pretty simple: Got stuff? Give it to your chauffeur and we’ll take care of the rest.
We don’t take used laptop batteries or computers. Google (or Bingle) what to do with those in your area.
So in case you’re the type that doesn’t look at your confirmations dig through those junk drawers (probably just to the right of your sink) or look behind your printers and find the good stuff.
